What does everyone think about MLB selling ad space on the bases and pitching mounds to promote Spider Man 2? It seems like baseball is desperate for money or something. But I think crossing the line would be selling ads on the uniforms.

They sell ads on race car drivers. I'm sure it wont be that far off.

How screwed did the Twins get last night? They scored twice and didn't get credit. Then Guzman left the building after Mientkiewicz hit a single and Guzman thought something else and started walking back to first. How bizarre. I'm glad I didn't stay up to watch it online. 16 innings???? EEE gads. Bring instant replay to baseball!

I think people are seriously overreacting to this. This story seems to be everywhere, and everyone seems to hate it. Me, I couldn't care less, in fact I actually think it's kind of cool.

I think the funny thing is that if you look at the ads you can't tell what they are from close up let alone far away. The only reason they make good ads is people talking about them.

So all the people complaining about how it's the end of baseball as we know it are really just providing the only advertising they are going to get out of it.
