As you may know, Johnny Cash passed away recently. Often times, the longevity of a career can be a good indicator of greatness. I think such is the case for Johnny Cash. His music has been appreciated for roughly 50 years and has been enjoyed by generations of fans. Country music fan or not, I encourage you to take a listen to his music.
