Russ Feingold is my Hero

My favorite senator risks a lot by doing this, but I think he is doing the right thing. And if anyone calls this a political stunt it would be an ignorant statement. Feingold was the only Democrat to side with the Republicans during the Clinton scandal, so his record shows that he is not a partisan politician. Russ for President, am I right? (twice divorced Jew, I doubt it)

I'll bite.
1. He's not risking much at all
2. Call me ignorant, but it certainly is a political stunt.

Well whether or not he feels strongly about it or is doing it for all the right reasons the timing is suspicious. Everything in Washington is a calculated "stunt" to some degree. I think Feingold has earned some respecability though where you can say it's not just a stunt. I'd love to see a Feingold/McCain ticket. I'm sick of partisan politics. I think two people who've shown they take each issue as it comes and decide on it personally rather than look at the "hands" around them cound do a lot of good for "righting the ship".
