Ok, I hope I don't jinx the forethcomings, but if the Packers have an opportunity to take A.J. Hawk and they pass him up for Vernon Davis from MD, I will officially be a little bit upset. In my personal opinion, establishing a defensive centerpoint to build a defense around will have better longterm payoffs than a tight end. So in review, I hope the Packers draft Hawk if he is there, which he should be.

Sarah here- I heard that's a better defensive player that the packers should take rather than Hawk. can't remember the name but maybe we should look at him. OH yea and since I haven't chimed in yet, I'm [u:82ed20b158]very [/u:82ed20b158] happy that Favre will be back, even though I was getting mad at him for taking his time. It just wouldn't be the same without him.

Pretty cool to see Henderson. I was pretty nervous that we were going to pick Leinart - 2 QBs in a row. Not that he wouldn't have been a good pick up, just a waste of a draft pick a year ago. (which i said a year ago anyway) This Hawk guy seems like a good pick up, they didn't have anything bad to say about him.

It was a pretty wild top 10. Hawk is the guy I wanted the Packers to draft starting way back in about week 16, and for the first time in my football watching days, they actually picked my pick. That makes me feel pretty good. Not simply because of my opinions of him, but that was smart enough to figure that out. Anyway, I am amazed that Leinart fell as far as number 10. Crazy. Trade Javon Walker to somebody for another 1st round draft pick!!!

Under Positives: "Runs hard and competes hard to pick up extra yardage." Under Negatives: "Not a powerful runner who is going to pick up much yardage after contact."
