Jeremy never has his num lock on. I can't survive without it.

If you were smart enough to know anything about a computer, you would know you can change how the computer starts up in the BIOS, and you can easily change that default setting.
Dumbass.

Num lock is the default "run until you stop" button in WOW, so I keep turning it off and then trying to use the keypad later on. Good times.

Wow, how did this blog get rediscovered?
(that's "wow" as in "Weapons of Warcraft, Batman, how did this blog get rediscovered.")

Clearly I meant "world" but I can't say I really know anything about World of Warcraft, so my attempt to make a joke about failed brilliantly. You've got to admit though, had I crafted the name correctly, that would have been a pretty clever post.

I just ran across this annoying number lock defaulting as "off" phenomenon again. I think it was actually the day before Alex decided to bring this thread back to our attention.
Just for the record, I was truly insulted when Bret (I think) went all "superior computational being" on me in that second comment.
Plus, it was a school lab computer, so I'm not sure if I could have changed anything anyway.

I believe it was a failed attempt at humor.
