Super Bowl Party 2006 (2/4/07) - RSVP
01/08/2007 9:10 pm
Let us know if you're coming by commenting below. Wives/Significant Others welcome. We'll have lots of food and drinks again. Bring your own booze if you want something specific, otherwise we have some stuff. We'll probably get some beer, which we don't drink, so let us know what kind. I'll try making slush again, hopefully it will seem like it has alcohol this time.
Those of you coming from out of town are welcome to stay the weekend, including Sunday night if that makes things easier for you.
We'll be playing the Wii all Wiikend if anyone wants to show up earlier than the game.
Again if you have no idea who any of us are on this page, you probably aren't invited. Chances are good though that if you're reading this you're invited. We might quiz you to see if you know the meaning of "MBL" to get in the door though.

I'm in. Melissa might be in as well. However, being not so much a sports fan as the rest of us, if she finds a party more focused on something other than the game (if that makes sense), she may go there instead.

Marine Biological Laboratory?
Seriously, Steph and I will be there at some point, most likely staying over Sunday night. I will post again when I know more details.

To be fair we only payed attention the the game in so far as much as to realize the hdtv was acting up.
I couldn't even tell you who played.

I'm thinking probably not. I believe I have the pager that weekend and I don't think its range extends that far.
I had assumed Bret was on some sort of page3/nutcan strike since he hadn't commented since like 2004. Though that might be a good thing seeing as how it only took 2 posts to start making claims of killing people.

A pager isn't a walkey talkey, it doesn't have range. The word you're looking for is "coverage". Clearly you just don't want to attend our lame party. I see how it is.
Bret did indeed go from 0 comments to threatening the lives of 3 people and a celebrity pretty quickly.

In Bret's defense, he did say that he Killed, past tense, meaning that he apparently mistook 4 other people for Alex, Matt, Jon, and Clint. there was no threatening involved. Just a confession.

Remind me to never hire you as my Lawyer.
"Your Honor, my client is not guilty of threatening these people, he merely confessed to them a past serial killing, which was misconstrued as a threat."

Yeah, I saw after I posted mine I wasn't on top of the new comments and thought there was an error for a second.
Then I remembered I don't make errors.

great comment, not five nuts though, because even though it's a joke, calling yourself perfect is just past the line of pride.
