From the article:
See if this scouting report reminds you of anyone... Not afraid to throw any pass, to anywhere on the field.
Is that supposed to be a good thing?

In Favre's case. People praise him for the same kinds of things that would get other QB's benched.

cuz he usually can get away with things that other QB's can't.

Like not being crucified for throwing a season ending INT on a pass a high school freshman wouldn't make?

How does a post about Millionaire turn into a discussion on favre? We should make a no favre rule for the offseason...at least until there is a story that is actually of some relevance

That's how awesome Favre is:) Check this out:
Person a - So I had an egg salad Sandwich for lunch.
Person b - sweet, Favre rules.
Person a - yeah, no kidding.
It isn't that hard, I'm suprised it doesn't happen more often.

I like how I had to explain Scott's comment to Jeremy, who in turn probably had to explain it to Matt. I laughed because it's true to life. Viking fans will never understand, and that's a shame.

Actually, I think I would rather not understand.

Actually you just explained you interpretation of it which a) isn't what he said and b) has nothing to do with being a packer/viking/football fan

Just out of curiosity, how did you explain it?
ps the type of sandwich is not symbolic in any way.

Will it never end?
Although before it ends I would like to hear how sarah interpreted scott's comment. Also, I doubt scott was going for "true to life." I think he was just making a joke.

To my understanding, Scott just meant you could be having a conversation about anything and someone could just insert something about the awesomeonious that is Favre and it wouldn't be weird. It could just be at any moment and it wouldn't really wreck the conversation. The conversation doesn't have to be about sandwiches, it could be about anything and it would be all good.
Person A: I am watching Scrubs.
Person B: That's cool, Favre rules.
Person A: Yea, true dat. Good episode.

Sarah...Viking Fans have something similar:
Person A: I am watching Scrubs.
Person B: That's cool, Packer fans sure are a strange bunch.

the pillhead comment was mean, not funny, personal issues don't belong in something like this.

Joke indeed......I don't think I have ever actually injected a "Favre rules" comment in the middle of a completely unrelated conversion before. But maybe I will just for fun now that I brought it up=)
