This is a great idea. I hope it ends up happening.

That sounds really cool. I wonder if the logistics work out....they must or it wouldn't be talked about.

I didn't see the Tucan's mentioned, but it's still a great idea.

Man, I hope nobody tries to save a ball from going out of bounds and accidently falls off the edge. That wouldn't be cool.

Sorry for once again posting on a completely different topic, but this artcle is good. Word to Wiley.

Wow, imagine that. Ralph Wiley took a subject and made it into a racial issue.

He does toss in the racial factor, but he makes some other more important points too. Who are the Tucans?

I stopped reading Wiley a long time ago. He writes the same article everytime.

I agree with Jeremy. I tried to read his articles when they started on Page 2, but a) I could never understand any of them and b) He made every article into a racial issue. Every once and awhile I skim an article but so far nothing is different.

I read the first part of the Wiley article just now and already it's ridiculous.
He brings up the "point" that there's no pill or substance that can make you hit 700 homeruns. We all know that. The problem is, that's not the issue. The issue is what happens when a player who would normally hit 500 hr's takes a supplement that makes him able to hit 200 more.
Those who think Bonds is on steroids probably don't think he would be batting .097 with 2 homeruns without the juice.
Steroids have never really been about "creating" talent, just enhancing it.
Tucans all the way

if bonds and these other guys (shefield or whoever) are all on steriods, then what was with the huge power outage last year? maybe half the pitchers in the major leagues are on steriods too. the article may not be the best, but i like this line, "I've seen Bonds do things no other human being can do, just as Ruth and Ted Williams and Mantle and Mays and Aaron did things no other human being can do. Muscles don't play baseball. Hands and eyes play baseball. Longevity books it." Just because a guy is unbelievably good, that doesn't prove that he is cheating.
