Mike Lamb was designated for assignment in order to open a spot for Guardado. Looks like Eddie may be in Seattle in time for tonights game against the Mariners.

I feel bad for Mike Lamb. He struggled at the beginning of the season and then lost time to Buscher/Harris at third. I think if given some regular playing time he could have turned it around, but there just weren't enough at bats for him with the rest of the team playing so well.

Guardado looked good in his first game back. Too bad the rest of the Twins suck.

The rest of the Twins don't suck. Our bullpen sucks. Now that Eddie is here, perhaps our bullpen will get their heads outta their backsides.

Do the Twins even want to go to the playoffs? Because I'm getting the impression they don't... Thank goodness football will step in and save me from this season that's going awry.

I'm not going to quit on the Twins just because football is starting- my relationship with Meagen can handle two sports at one time.

Are you implying something here? I think I've just gotten too caught up in this season and don't want to be disappointed if/when we don't make the playoffs. I need some distraction. So, I'll latch onto football, since after all, it is the more superior sport.
