Help Me Nutcan ... My Comp is Infected.
So yesterday, in my University email, I received a message saying that someone had sent me an e-card. As soon as I opened it all hell broke loose. My AVG threw up a warning - then my comp shut itself down. When I re-started it wanted to check my c-drive for consistency. Also, now, it just shuts down periodically and restarts itself, but, when it restarts my windows firewall has been turned off. What should I do?View External Link [www.google.com]

First of all, don't open ecards if you don't know the person.
Secondly restart in safe mode, run AVG, download and run Ad-aware.
And then do this.

Well I did everything I think. I went to squash the worm but the file they were looking for didn't exist. Maybe the adaware thing found it along with the other 303 infections it found. I re-started and everthing seems kosher. Thanks. We will see what happens.
