![]() | JeremyI was really pissed about the Randy Moss traffic cop thing until more info came out and I found out that it wasn't really anything. Moss usually has big nights on national games, he has a rough week though, so we'll see. On the other hand it might be a reason to give 111%, instead of his normal 110%. It's bothersome that the Vikings haven't won on the road since Thanksgiving of 2000, but, it all comes together here, if Daunte can HOLD ONTO THE BAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL. The Randy countdown is at 102 receptions for 1663 yards and 20 touchdowns for the three single season records. He needs 17 receptions for 783 yards and 11 TDs to remain on pace to own every career receiving record. |
![]() | MattCulpepper has looked terrible so far this year. For Minnesota to have any chance at a respectable season he needs to turn it around soon. That said, the Vikings should finally get win number one against the abysmal Seahawks. |
![]() | JonProbably the easiest yet hardest game to write comments for so far. I’ll keep it simple. Since everyone will be watching this game (due to the huge Vikings-Seahawks rivalry) the tension level should be pretty high. The game is on that new wacky moon substance so expect about ten injuries per quarter. The pick is Minnesota |
![]() | SarahI figure these yahoos are all going to pick the Vikings, so if they win or lose, I'm ok as far as my standings for the week. As far as the game goes, the Seahawks are spiraling downwards and I think the Vikings have already hit rock bottom, so now they can only go up. Even though Randy has had a busy week, he should still have some energy in him to make some big plays, unless he doesn't feel like it. |

![]() | JeremyIs the spread on this game like 40? Shannon Sharpe should put up big numbers on his old team, wait he's on his old team playing his new team? No he's on a new team that happens to be his old team and he's playing his newest old team. Wait. My ears are bleeding. |
![]() | MattThe Ravens are my pick to go 0-16 this year. Denver should have no problem helping them along. |
![]() | JonHave I mentioned that the Ravens were my pick to be the worst team in the NFL? I think the Stouties could take them. Are the Ravens the only franchise to ever get their name from a poem? Someone should look in to this. What actually should be looked into though: The way I’m just phoning these comments in at this point. Broncos should take it. Does anyone get it done quite like Mike Shanahan? (Probably. How would I know?). |
![]() | SarahI'm looking for next week's MNF game and couldn't care less about the AFC, but apparently Denver is on fire so I will have to go with them. Poor Brian Griese, at least he likes dogs, even if they do injure him. |

Jeremy
I have a feeling the Panthers are for real. They will need to win this week to convince me for sure. Their defense has been suffocating so far this season and Rodney Peete looked sharp against the Vikings last week. The Packers should luck their way into a win at the end.Matt
All I have to say is that the Panthers beat the Vikings so they damn well better beat the Packers.Jon
Sure the mighty Panthers will likely be without their star receiver, but you don’t get to 3-0 on the back of just one player. (You get there with an easy schedule). The Packers’ offense is pretty decent, but Carolina has a pretty decent defense. Carolina is the pick here. Rodney Peete for MVP!!!!Sarah
Once again, too close of a game for comfort last week. Carolina may be for real, but this isn't their House! Like half of the Packers are injured from their game at the grass/turf Ford Place so that might hurt. I think they will still win, but who knows? Does anyone want to come out of retirement?
