![]() | JonThe first balanced team Carolina has to play since the beginning of these playoffs. Seattle might not be dominant, but they are good. |
![]() | SarahI don't think Seattle will overcome their destiny of loserville. Carolina is just domination. Amen. Oh and espn.com front page does suck. lol. |

I got Pittsburgh beating the Broncos, and while neither NFC team really inspires me in any way (although it rained for like 30 straight days in Seattle until the Seahawks won their first playoff game since like 1984 and then the sun came out in Seattle) (I'm also trying to figure out if Seattle actually has a football team), I think I want the Seahawks to win. I pretty much like anyone if they have ties to Wisconsin or the Packers, and Mike Holmgren and Matt Hasselback fit that mold. So I think It's almost like rooting for the Packers.
So Seattle and Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl.

Sarah saw a commercial for the movie firewall and said "Get off my bank" and proceeded to laugh uncontrollably for the next ten minutes. No I'm not exagerating. She was struggling to breathe.

Brett Favre can retire. Sexiest Man in the NFL is a title he will never out-do!!!
Also, I expect a count of how many times the announcers mention Brett Favre's name during the NFC game.

I dont think Favre is the sexiest QB in the Division let alone man in the NFL.

The overall NFL season has been downhill since the Colts lost their first game. It's all rather anticlimatic right now. Jakes stunk it up today.
Jeremy, who is a sexier QB in the division?

Yeah that's an insult to Joey Harrington...that's the only thing he has going for him is he's so damn sexy. He almost approaches Tom Brady status.
How about Kurt Warner's wife? She's Gozar at the end of Ghostbusters. THERE IS NO DANA...ONLY ZEUL!!!!!!!!!!

Kurt Warner's wife isn't very pretty. That's my opinion anyway.

icbeast - I don't need to get steady I know just how I feel

I include other things in my definition of sexy than just looks. And losing lots of football games and the starting QB job multiple times is not sexy.

I'm the only female of the group and I haven't made one comment about the sexiness of the players... and yet this has been quite the long thread... talkin bout the sexiness of the male football players...

Well, the games themselves certainly weren't worth talking about. And I have nothing to say about the next game either.

I thought the same thing
I know how many (like Sarah) felt about the Lions/Barry Sanders situation. Could it be time to put your money where your mouth is?

I can honestly say that I thought the exact same thing too after reading his last interview. He mentioned the "that's usually the first ticket out of town" and he also said something about his salary of 10 million and those just aren't things he would normally talk about in that way. And I think it would be best for Favre and the Packers to part ways. I'm all for it. They should be able to trade him I would think. Get what you can for him and then go for the full-scale rebuild. It's really the only option that makes sense, unless Favre really does want to retire. The Packers will probably stink next year either way, they should let Favre go try and win another Super Bowl. Just make sure he goes to the AFC.

Look for a couple iffy calls to go Pittsburg's way in this one. I think Denver matches up a bit better against Pittsburgh than Indy did.Matt
Remember when Jake Plummer was the worst QB in the league? Neither do I, but apparently he was.Jon
Outside of Indianapolis, I don't think anyone had as impressive of a regular season as Denver.Sarah
After that win, well the Steelers dominated until the 4th quarter. The Broncos won because the Patriots suck. There I said it. I'm going with the Steelers. Yancy Thigpen dropped the ball!
