![]() | JeremyCarolina is a tough team to read, luckily there's no read to make since I've never picked against the Vikings. It's a stategy that has yet to pay off. |
![]() | MattThey should still fire Mike Tice. |
![]() | JonThe Minnesota kickers will revive this team. |
![]() | SarahScrew Minnesota and their non win last week. They'll get whupped by Carolina and it'll just show how we should've won last week. |
![]() | Bills 16 @ Patriots 21 | ![]() |
![]() | JeremyThey're the same colors. How's that for insight? |
![]() | MattThe Bills should start Frank Reich. |
![]() | JonBuffalo at New England. I'm told there were once buffalo across this great land. Or maybe bison. Then a guy who looked like homer simpson shot them all. |
![]() | SarahMy brain is worn out. Remember when we wanted JP Losman? I do. That seems like such a long time ago. Good times those were, good times. |
![]() | Ravens 19 @ Steelers 20 | ![]() |
![]() | JeremyRemember when Alex asked Willie Parker who? That was funny...in hindsight anyway. |
![]() | MattOnce again, I've got nothing. |
![]() | JonBaltimore? More like BaltiLESS am I right? Am I right? No. Not correct. |
![]() | SarahSpooky...Baltimore is out without its best 2 defensive players. And well, they're not a very good team. I hope Willie Parker has a good game, I need some FF points. What's with people ripping on the FF? It's fun and interesting and its something to do. Phooey on some people. |

Bill Simmons quote to start off the week:
(While we're here, shouldn't Rich Hall create a sniglet to describe that weird fantasy football feeling of anger/envy/hatred/betrayal when someone like Santana Moss randomly becomes an elite player, only it didn't happen when he was on your team? It's vaguely reminiscent to dating a virgin in college, getting the Mr. Miyagi treatment for a few months, dumping her, then finding out two years later that she's suddenly pulling a Paris Hilton on your entire class. Whoops, bad analogy -- there are no virgins anymore. That one would have worked great in 1995. Oh well.)
Suckers

Well, we knew it was coming. I mean good for him and all, but players have come back from other injuries/illnesses before. Go Badgers though huh? I want to change my giants/redskins pick if plexico doesn't play although that would be good for me since i picked up the well dressed amani toomer.

Week 8 Trivia: River Crossings
A. This historical crossing involved three future Presidents, a future Vice-President, a future Chief Justice, a future Secretary of the Treasury, and a future Secretary of War.
Name this famous crossing.
(Bonus points for the names of the seven men alluded to above.)
B. Since Julius Caesar did it in 49 BC, to cross this river has come to mean the taking of an irrevocable action, or passing a point of no return.

A. That would be the crossing of the Delaware, besides Washington, James Madison, James Monroe, John Marshall, Aarron Burr, and Alexander Hamilton were all on board the boat.

Ah, that other river would be the "Rubicon".
Caesar crossed the Rubicon.

Let me get this straight, edinger just missed a 33 yard fg? bastard

Sarah - How do you use these things?

I wish I could be a football player so I could go up to Favre before the game and ask for the jersey that he's going to wear during the game that we're about to play. I wonder if Favre is going to give it to him? I doubt it.

Wait what? Is Culpepper hurt?

Sarah - So's your face
10/30/2005 @ 01:11:21 PM
I see that he is, well to keep all of my readers updated, it looks like Chad Johnson is hurt also as he just left for the locker room, and when I saw that play I thought hmmmm Johnson looks hurt but then he got up.
Now we get to see if Brad Johnson is better than Culpepper. So many people with the last name of Johnson.
John Elway is a lonely guy. Good, he deserves to be. Man, I'm lonely. :( Talking to myself on a website on my birthday. :(

I don't have much to say so far except I think I should have started FTaylor. And I finally benched Collins and he's having his best game of the year. And the Vikings are getting pounded. And Happy Birthday Sarah!

Oh snap, the Go Bucks be back up to their highest spot on the charts after a beasty week. Shout out to Jeff Garcia, and also to JP Losman for convincing Homer Oats/Tonys Team to drop Moulds. 2 more weeks should be sufficient time to take over the lead I think. I had 4 of the top 9 RBs this week.

Cincinnati gets to get back on track here. One of two things will happen, either the Packers will make it close just to piss me off or they will lose in such a way it makes the Packers - Saints game seem like a close game.Matt
Oh, how the tables have turned.Jon
They call Cincinnati the Queen's city. I'm not sure why though. Was Freddie Mercury from there?Sarah
Happy Birthday to me!!! For my birthday I think I want a Packer win. That shouldn't be too hard to get. I mean, we're only missing a few players, no biggie. As long as we got #4, we've got all we need.
