wow what happened sarah.... you said the packers wouldnt be able to beat the colts.... your lack of confidence is quite disturbing.... I think it perhaps brings up the question... are you a true packer fan? You really need to give the packers a little bit more credit.... and u picked the cowboys to win last week also? u picked a cowboy win and a packer loss?! ..... wow.... if brett favre were here.... you would have ALOT of explaining to do

I don't know if I can direct this at you since you're not talking to me, BUT I am very confused right now. It is very soap-ratic (is that a word?) right now for the Packers and for Favre. To keep you up to date, I am not leaning towards the Packers side right now.

Not sure what that's referring to, or why I am suddenly the only one to have ever done that.
Anyway, Favre's response:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3657242
Here's the other thing before you guys finish forming the lynch mob, and I know this is going to sound silly at first. (I meant to post this earlier, and Favre himself addresses some of this.) Let's say this 90 minute bean-spilling session DID happen. What could Favre have told them that really would have been that big of a help? Even if Favre turned over a playbook, how much would that help? In Tecmo Bowl you had 4 offensive plays to choose from and the other team guessed it right less than 25% of the time, just because of the small amount of gamesmanship and strategy you could put into even that. NFL Playbooks are hundreds of pages and every play can have endless tweaks done to it, including at "runtime."
What could Favre tell them that would a) Remain constant and b) wouldn't be painfully obvious by just watching the last game? Diddily, that's what.
It's like "Spygate." Ultimately what advantage does knowing someone's defensive signals give you? Unless Tom Brady himself memorized the signals they didn't do anyone any good.
As an aside; I would be more surprised if every team in the league DIDN'T have every other team's playbook, or at least that of their main opponents, than the other way around. I would be shocked if the Packers and Vikings didn't have each others' playbooks.

Also, 4 way tie for picks amongst the "Big 4". That's odd.

Scott - You're going to have to call your hardware guy. It's not a software issue.
10/22/2008 @ 03:24:22 PM
Also, the "Big 4" does not look so big next to Big Scott (67 wins)!

FOX sports just reported that not one but BOTH the "Williams Brothers" DT's from the Vikings have tested positive for a banned substance.
Suspensions expected. No link, it was on TV.

Colts 21 @ Titans 31
Jeremy
Thanks for showing up last week Colts. It's starting to look more and more like the big game against the Ravens was the fluke, rather than the Colts getting "back on track".Sarah
I've heard the Titans are pretty good this year. They are the 2008 2000 Ravens. Semi-crappy QB but stellar defense. Did the Colts huge salaries finally hurt them? Whatever the case may be, I like how the Colts have actually lost games in September and October this year. It's a nice change of pace. No Packer games, no Viking games. What a strange weekend.Matt
See this is more like it. Just one game to comment on. Of course, that still doesn't mean I have anything good to say here.Jon
Is this Brett Favre's Titans or the regular kind?
