![]() | JonIt almost pains me to not pick Indianapolis, especially in this game. But it's not the same anymore. Remember how different of a game this was last year? I think I cheered as hard for the Colts to beat New England as I did for the Vikings to beat just about anybody. |

Especially now that they've created a hole at the WR position.
This Halloween theme could use a little TLC it seems.

I have to pick the Pack at Tenn. I have to. Do I want to? Maybe, maybe not. But if I don't and they win, I'll be upset at my lack of optimism.

here are my predictions for the 3 big games of this sunday.....
I predict packers win within 7 - 3 points to beat the titans....
I predict Giants win within 7- 10 points to beat the cowgirls
I predict the Bills to beat the jets handily 10+... Favre will not have a very good day(1-2 ints)....

just one or two? These are the Bills- don't they have one of the best rated D's? 3 ints, 1 will be returned for 6.

Now lets hope he's one of the many players (QB's in particular) in NFL history to show promise in a contract year, then ultimately tank.

Over 6 years it doesn't seem like a ton, maybe a little high and/or a little early for that kind of commitment. The key thing in football is the guaranteed money, because besides that a team can pretty much just cut anybody and be done with it. Seems like you can really screw yourself with bad contracts more in other sports (like the Bucks).
I'm not really drawing much for a list of highly paid tanking QBs, not counting draft picks...? Culpepper was a bust but I don't think it cost Miami that much did it?

Can't anyone stay retired now a days?
I feel bad about KGB, but what has he done for us lately? Notta.

Well, it was kind of silly that he retired in the first place. Clearly Culpepper admires Favre so much that he is trying to imitate him. Which leads me to next point, that story says he has great knowledge of the NFC North, but I think a lot has changed in the last 2.5 years, so I'm not sure what helpful knowledge he really has. At least the Packer's defense has totally changed from what it was in 2005, with KGB gone Al Harris might be the only player left really? Survey says...also Nick Collins, Nick Barnett (totally didn't realize this was his 6th year already), Aaron Kampman (b4 he was Aaron Kampman), and Colin Cole.

No kidding. I mean really he'd know nothing about even the Vikings. He probably only played with a handful of guys.

Packers are lucky Jennings and Driver are so awesome. Rodgers' throws seem pretty low today.

How heartbreaking. I blame Rodgers, but I'm sure his millions will comfort him.

They should've been gutsier on their last possession, instead of being satisfied to throw a short pass, not get a first down, and punt. Either throw it past the line of gain, or if you're going to punt anyway, try a 40 yard hail mary or something. They just wussed out, which means you lose but no you one can blame you for "making the safe play". And I blame Jennings for not playing very well, instead of whining about pass interference on that long pass he should've caught the ball because he got both hands on it. Also, I'm blame the defense for dropping 5 interceptions.
Edit: forgot about Rodgers' fumble, that was unacceptable

Jennings admitted he should have caught the ball.
It wasn't Rodgers fault - that contract was smart.

Packers 16 @ Titans 19
Matt
Kerry Collins for MVP!!!Sarah
I had a post here about how the Packers D has to play their best game and the Packers Offense needs to have a perfect balance of running and passing, but I think I misplaced it. Titans running game has quite the 1, 2, punch. Also, to make the next comment make sense I think I also said that nothing's impossible, so I am going with the Packers on this one.Jeremy
This smells like another 3 int day for Mr. New Contract, but 1-2 will suffice.Jon
Brett Favre has been a Titan and a Packer!
