People got all up in arms over the Steelers signing Michael Vick because he's still regarded by many as the worst human being ever to play football despite the fact that I don't know if we're sure he's even the worst person playing quarterback for the Steelers.

It's the Thursday Night Opener! Or as I call it, a Thursday night during baseball season. If Bill Simmons and his various theories are to be believed, Brady and Belichick get themselves extra ramped up to stick it to anyone who "wrongs" them by sticking it to their opponents. So I guess we are supposed to expect the Patriots to win by 73 or so.

For the first time in my life I can say this: I have money on this game, so the Vikings better win. Really they better win anyway, despite, IMHO inexplicably, being 1 point underdogs. (Which, kinda sorta means favored by 2 but on the road, but still.) The 49ers may or may not show up with a full roster of guys.



Also, figures the first Viking game of life in Florida is the "gets done at 4am eastern" late week one MNF game.

49ers lost half their team and they seemed to have lost faith in Kaepernick. Because the hubs bet on this game in Vegas for the Vikings to win, I'm going to pick them to win so we can get some monies.
